Relaunch of SHIBU Genesis Collection: Rising from the Ashes
Three months ago, the SHIBU Society faced a devastating attack. Hackers breached our main wallet, shibusociety.eth, stealing valuable NFTs and $YIN Tokens. They also targeted our giveaway wallet, filled with assets meant for the SHIBU community. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t access our $YIN Treasury wallet, safeguarded by a multisig setup and our vigilant YIN DAO Board.
One of our Board members, a top-notch developer, swiftly transferred the remaining assets and smart contracts to a new wallet, ensuring the security and continuity of our project. This process required significant time, energy, and financial resources, but we refused to give up on what we’ve built
The Relaunch: A New Beginning
We are excited to announce the relaunch of the SHIBU Genesis Collection, featuring a total supply of 3,000 SHIBU Genesis NFTs.
Originally, we started with 9000 SHIBUs, but we decided to burn 4000, with plans to burn an additional 2000, reducing the total supply to a 3000 collection. Momentarily there are already 1268 SHIBU’s minted, this means that there are 1732 SHIBU’s left to be minted. these will be released in two mint phases:
Phase 1: 866 NFTs at a mint price of 0.020 ETH.
Phase 2: 866 NFTs at a mint price of 0.035 ETH.

That is why the amount of $YIN tokens are halvened each year by 50%. This will be programmed into the smart contract.
